The Beginning
Our band seems to be doing well, we have finally started
being able to get gigs in local pubs and bars which is a big thing for us
because we can now let the public know of our music which we have been wanting
to do for a long time, just never had the chance to be able to prove ourselves
till now. We have all known each other since primary school, we are all good
friends but we only starting picking up to play instruments when we got into
secondary school. That is when we first started watching instruments getting
played by higher year students and this is what first made us want to start
playing instruments, shortly after we seen this we started listening to music
at home and telling each other about what types of music we liked. Shortly after
this again we started learning to play instruments because we liked playing
music, any old rubbish we tried to do was still good because it relaxed us, we
finally started putting band practices together and actually first thought
about making the band, first we had to make a name up that we could all agree
on, the first was “The Kids” which we then thought no we couldn’t have that
because we would want to be a band for a long period of time and we wouldn’t be
kids when we are older so we did not choose that one, so we then thought of Needless
Party. We choose this name because we just like to get drunk and party which
suits us all pretty well seen as we all love drinking. Our dream is to be able
to play on the Wembley stadium stage in front of a big crowd that loves our
music, this will hopefully come true one day.
